Almonds from cold

Scientists from the Institute of Food Research in Norwich and the University Hospital of Messina conducted experiments that revealed the unique properties of almonds. Their study showed that: a compound contained in the skin of almonds, increases the body’s immune response to infections such as colds and flu, writes The Telegraph.
